Twelfth Street Studio was formed as a collaboration between longtime colleagues and previous firm principals Rick Penza (Rick Penza Architect, Inc) and Brandon Hicks (Studio Independent LLC). With a strong emphasis on modern design the Studio believes in developing projects that are rooted in their context and that respond strongly to program and function.

7,000sf renovation of a 1969 metal building, previously used as an auto parts retail store and warehouse, is located in Tampa’s Hyde Park. It provides a high profile, modern office for the boutique, South Tampa-based advertising agency.

New residence in Westshore area of Tampa, Florida. This 8,000 square foot residence consists of an open floor plan designed around protected grand trees. Interior design was completed in collaboration with Nate Berkus Associates.
